Coconut oil can be used on your hair and skin. But it is not recommended to be used as a lubricant over a latex and polyisoprene condoms. When coconut oil is applied over a latex condom, it reacts adversely and weakens the latex membrane leading to condom breakage.
Coconut oil increases the risk of condom breakage when it is applied over a latex or polyisoprene condom. But it can be used over lambskin, polyurethane or nitrile condoms.
