Read the material before the marketing

Four specifications determine whether a purchase in this category is safe, cleanable and compatible with what you already own. Every entry below is tagged against them, because material and lubricant compatibility cause more product failures and skin reactions than design ever does.

Non-porous beats soft

Platinum-cure silicone, borosilicate glass and stainless steel can be fully sterilised. TPE, TPR, jelly and PVC are porous, cannot be sterilised, and should be used with a condom over them.

Silicone lube ruins silicone toys

Silicone-based lubricant chemically degrades silicone surfaces on contact, leaving them tacky and permanently damaged. Use water-based with anything silicone. This is the most common and most expensive mistake buyers make.

Oil destroys latex

Oil-based lubricants and oil-containing massage products weaken latex within minutes, causing condom failure. With latex, use water-based or silicone-based only.

A flared base is not optional

Anything used anally needs a base wider than the widest insertable point, or a retrieval loop. The rectum has no natural stop, and retrieval is a hospital procedure.

Cock rings & sleeves

21 → 24

The highest-selling couple category in India and the one Condombazaar stocks most deeply. A ring restricts venous outflow so that blood leaves the erectile tissue more slowly than it enters — that is the entire mechanism, and it is also why the time limit matters.

Standard Cock Rings

A simple stretchable ring worn at the base of the shaft, around the scrotum, or both. It supports a firmer and longer-maintained erection by slowing venous return. Silicone is the sensible default: it stretches enough to be removed under pressure, where rigid metal or resin does not. Sizing should be snug but never painful, and a first purchase should always be stretchable.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, TPE, resin

What to look for

Stretchable silicone for a first purchase, without exception. Internal diameter around 30 to 35 mm suits most people; too tight is genuinely dangerous and too loose does nothing. Adjustable lasso-style rings with a sliding toggle remove the sizing problem entirely and are worth the small premium for anyone unsure.

Using it, and looking after it

Roll it on while semi-erect rather than fully erect, and use a little water-based lubricant to ease it into place. Twenty minutes maximum, then remove. If pubic hair catches, trim rather than pulling. Wash with soap and water afterwards and check silicone rings periodically for splits, which is how they fail.

Safety: Twenty minutes is the standard maximum, then remove for a period before reuse. Numbness, coldness, unusual swelling or colour change means remove immediately.

Rabbit & Couple Rings

A ring with an external projection positioned to make contact with the clitoris during intercourse. This is the design that addresses the single most consistent finding in sexual-response research — that most women require direct external stimulation to reach orgasm, and that penetration alone frequently does not deliver it. Orientation matters: the projection has to face the right way to do anything at all.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone with ABS motor housing

What to look for

Arm length and flexibility decide whether it works for a given couple, and this is where most disappointment comes from. A short rigid arm on a taller partner simply never makes contact. Look for a flexible arm with some length to spare, and a ring that stretches enough to be positioned comfortably.

Using it, and looking after it

Fit the ring first, then rotate the arm so it points toward the clitoris before starting — this single step is the difference between the product working and doing nothing. A little lubricant on the arm improves contact. Same twenty-minute limit. Rinse and dry fully, keeping any charge port clear of water.

Buying note: Check the ring is stretchable silicone rather than rigid. The same twenty-minute limit applies as for standard rings.

Vibrating Cock Rings

A ring with a small bullet motor seated in the housing, delivering vibration to both partners at the point of contact. Effectively the highest-value entry product in the whole catalogue: low cost, immediately usable without technique, and the format most likely to convert a first-time buyer into a repeat one. Disposable single-use models and rechargeable multi-speed models both sell well.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, ABS bullet motor

What to look for

Decide between three constructions: single-use sealed units at the lowest price, replaceable-cell units, and rechargeable units with the best motors and full waterproofing. For a first try the disposable version answers the question cheaply; if the answer is yes, a rechargeable is a much better product. Check whether the motor sits above the ring or below it, which changes who feels it most.

Using it, and looking after it

Fit the ring, orient the motor toward the partner, and switch on before rather than during. Water-based lubricant only if a condom is also in use. The twenty-minute rule still applies — vibration does not change the circulation mechanics. Rinse sealed units under running water and dry before storage.

Buying note: Battery-integrated models are sealed and disposable after the cell dies. Check before buying whether the unit is rechargeable, replaceable-cell or single-use.

Penis Sleeves & Extenders

A thick textured sheath worn over the shaft that adds girth, length or surface texture. Full-shaft, shaft-only and glans-only variants exist. The material is many times thicker than a condom, which reduces sensation for the wearer — sometimes the intended effect, since reduced sensitivity extends duration.

Experience levelBeginner to intermediate
Typical materialTPE, silicone

What to look for

Wall thickness is the trade-off: thicker adds more girth and reduces sensation more, thinner does less of both. Open-ended sleeves suit added girth; closed-ended extenders add length but need the right internal depth or they slide. Soft TPE is comfortable but porous; silicone costs more and cleans properly.

Using it, and looking after it

Use lubricant inside as well as outside, or the sleeve grips and drags. Check the fit is secure before starting, since a sleeve working loose mid-use is the common complaint. A sleeve is not contraception and offers no infection protection: if either matters, wear a condom as well. Wash inside out, dry completely, and dust TPE before storage.

Safety: A sleeve is not a contraceptive and provides no infection protection. If either is required, a condom must be used as well, and the sleeve does not replace it.

Dildo formats

25 → 36

Non-vibrating insertables, distinguished from each other almost entirely by material and shape. Material determines lubricant compatibility, cleaning method and temperature behaviour, so it is the specification worth reading first.

Harness and Strap-On Dildos — sex toy type 25 of 64, buyer’s guide India
Upload needed · slot 25Strap-On-Harness.webp/img/toys/ · 700 × 700 px · WebP
TYPE 25 / 64 Reference entry

Harness & Strap-On Dildos

A dildo mounted in a wearable harness for hands-free use. Two-piece systems, where any compatible dildo fits an O-ring harness, are more flexible than fixed one-piece units. Harness fit is the part people underestimate: a poorly fitted harness shifts under movement and is the usual reason a first attempt disappoints.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialSilicone with O-ring harness

What to look for

Harness style is the main decision. Two-strap designs are adjustable and inexpensive; boxer-brief styles distribute force better and stay put through vigorous movement; single-strap thong styles are the least stable. Confirm the O-ring diameter against the dildo base — most harnesses ship with two or three interchangeable rings, and a mismatch makes the set unusable.

Using it, and looking after it

Fit the harness before mounting the dildo and tighten it more than feels necessary, since it will loosen with movement. Practise the angle first without a partner. Machine-wash fabric harnesses in a mesh bag; wipe leather and let it dry naturally away from heat.

Buying note: Check the O-ring diameter matches the dildo base before buying either half separately.

TYPE 26 / 64 Reference entry

Glass Dildos

Rigid, non-porous and completely smooth, borosilicate glass takes and holds temperature, so it can be warmed or cooled in water before use. Being non-porous, it is the easiest material to sterilise properly, and it is compatible with every lubricant type. Firmness makes it precise but unforgiving.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialBorosilicate glass

What to look for

Borosilicate is the only glass worth buying — it is the same laboratory glass used in cookware and it handles thermal change without cracking. Look for a piece annealed and moulded as one unit with no seam, and a base or flared end even if you do not plan anal use. Surface texture such as spirals or ridges is more noticeable in glass than in softer materials because there is no give.

Using it, and looking after it

Warm or cool it in a bowl of water rather than under a running tap, and never move it between temperature extremes. Inspect the whole surface under good light before each use and discard at the first chip. It is compatible with every lubricant, dishwasher-safe and boilable, and should be stored padded rather than loose.

Buying note: Inspect for chips or cracks before every use and discard immediately if any are found. Never subject it to sudden extreme temperature change.

TYPE 27 / 64 Reference entry

Standard Dildos

The baseline format: a straight or gently curved insertable of moderate size, with or without anatomical detail. Firmness rather than dimension is the specification that most affects how it feels — a softer piece of the same measurements reads as noticeably smaller in use.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, TPE

What to look for

Insertable length and maximum diameter are the two numbers to compare, and listings often quote total length including the base, which overstates it. Firmness varies more than dimensions between similar-looking products, so read for durometer or dual-density construction. A slight upward curve suits most anatomies better than a perfectly straight shaft.

Using it, and looking after it

Warm it in your hands, use water-based lubricant with anything silicone, and give yourself time rather than treating first use as a test. Non-motorised silicone can be boiled for ten minutes or washed with soap and water. TPE cannot be sterilised and should be used with a condom over it and replaced periodically.

Buying note: Platinum-cure silicone is non-porous and body-safe. TPE is softer and cheaper but porous, so it cannot be fully sterilised and should be used with a condom.

TYPE 28 / 64 Experienced users

Large-Format Dildos

Oversized insertables for experienced users. Included for completeness. Size progression should be gradual over months, not sessions, and generous lubricant is required throughout regardless of experience.

Experience levelExperienced only
Typical materialPlatinum-cure silicone

What to look for

If you are buying at this size, match the shape and firmness you already use and step up one increment rather than jumping. Softer platinum-cure silicone at large dimensions is considerably more forgiving than firm material. A wide flared base becomes more important, not less, as size increases.

Using it, and looking after it

Extended warm-up in the same session, generous lubricant reapplied often, and no attempt to reach any particular depth. Pain is a stop signal. Large pieces need proper drying before storage since moisture trapped in a fold encourages growth, and they should be stored flat rather than bent.

Safety: Pain is a stop signal, not a threshold to work past. Bleeding or persistent soreness afterwards warrants medical attention.

Silicone Dildos

The category benchmark. Medical-grade silicone is non-porous, phthalate-free, boilable for sterilisation, and available across the full firmness range. If a buyer asks for one recommendation on material alone, this is the answer.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialPlatinum-cure silicone

What to look for

Look specifically for 'platinum-cure' or 'medical-grade' silicone rather than 'silicone blend', which usually means a porous mix. Genuine silicone passes the flame test and has no chemical smell out of the box. Dual-density construction — a firm core inside a softer shell — costs more and feels substantially more realistic than single-density moulding.

Using it, and looking after it

Water-based lubricant only. Silicone lubricant bonds to silicone surfaces and permanently ruins them, which is the most expensive common mistake in this category. Boil for ten minutes or wash with soap and water. Store silicone pieces separately from each other, since prolonged contact between different silicone formulations can cause both to degrade.

Safety: Silicone-based lubricant degrades silicone toys on contact. Use a water-based lubricant with anything silicone — this is the single most common compatibility mistake.

TYPE 30 / 64 Reference entry

Inflatable Dildos

An insertable with a hand bulb that expands girth after insertion, allowing the user to adjust size during use rather than committing beforehand. A niche format with a genuine use case for gradual dilation.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialLatex, TPE with hand pump

What to look for

Check the deflation mechanism before anything else — a quick-release valve is essential and some cheaper models only deflate slowly through the pump. Confirm the maximum inflated diameter, not just the starting size. Latex versions are unsuitable for anyone with a latex allergy.

Using it, and looking after it

Inflate in single pump increments and pause between them. Deflate fully before removal, never while still expanded. Oil-based lubricant destroys latex, so use water-based. Inspect the bulb and tubing for perishing before each use, and store deflated rather than partly inflated.

Buying note: Inflate in small increments. Latex versions are unsuitable for anyone with a latex allergy and are degraded by oil-based lubricant.

TYPE 31 / 64 Reference entry

Metal Dildos

Heavy, rigid, non-porous and fully sterilisable, steel conducts temperature readily and is favoured for temperature play. The weight itself contributes to the sensation in a way lighter materials do not. Maintenance is effectively zero.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialSurgical stainless steel

What to look for

Surgical stainless steel, usually 316L, is the grade to look for; cheaper plated metal can flake. Weight is a feature rather than a drawback and typically runs 500 g to well over a kilogram. Curved models are considerably easier to use than straight ones at this rigidity, since the shape does the aiming.

Using it, and looking after it

Warm or cool it in water before use — steel at room temperature feels cold enough to cause reflex tightening. There is no give in the material at all, so move slowly and let the weight do the work rather than applying force. Compatible with every lubricant, fully sterilisable by boiling, and effectively indestructible.

Buying note: The weight and rigidity are unforgiving. Compatible with every lubricant type, but move slowly — there is no give in the material at all.

TYPE 32 / 64 Reference entry

Non-Realistic Dildos

Abstract shapes in non-skin colours, often ridged, spiralled or wave-formed. The category exists partly for aesthetic preference and partly because abstract forms are less conspicuous. Sensation is driven by the surface geometry rather than by resemblance to anything.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

Surface geometry is what you are buying: ridges, spirals, bulbs and waves each produce a distinct sensation on movement rather than at rest. Deep undercuts and sharp transitions look striking and are harder to clean thoroughly, so prefer flowing shapes with smooth-moulded surfaces and no seam line.

Using it, and looking after it

Movement matters more with textured pieces than with smooth ones, since the texture registers on the transition rather than statically. Water-based lubricant with silicone. Pay particular attention to grooves when washing, and boil if the piece is non-motorised silicone.

Buying note: Deep grooves and sharp texture transitions are harder to clean thoroughly. Check the surface is smooth-moulded without seams.

TYPE 33 / 64 Reference entry

Realistic Dildos

Anatomically detailed, usually in dual-density construction — a firm inner core inside a softer outer layer, which reproduces the feel of tissue over structure far better than single-density moulding. This construction is the main reason for the price difference within the category.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialDual-density silicone, TPE

What to look for

Dual-density construction is the specification worth paying for, and it is what separates a convincing piece from a rubbery one. Check whether the base is a suction cup, a flared disc or harness-compatible, since manufacturers vary and the base determines what you can actually do with it. Skin-tone pigments in cheaper TPE can transfer onto fabric.

Using it, and looking after it

Water-based lubricant with silicone construction. Dual-density pieces should be washed carefully at the base seam where the two densities meet, and dried completely. Store away from direct light, which fades pigment, and separately from other silicone items.

Buying note: Dual-density pieces are usually silicone and require water-based lubricant. Check whether the base is flared if anal use is intended.

TYPE 34 / 64 Reference entry

Compact Dildos & Probes

Short, slim insertables intended as first purchases or as discreet-storage options. The reduced dimensions make this the sensible entry point for anyone unsure about the category, and the format travels without difficulty.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

Compact does not mean lower quality, and the same material rules apply. For a genuine first purchase look for an insertable length around 10 cm and a diameter under 30 mm, in medium-firm silicone. A flared base is still required if there is any chance of anal use.

Using it, and looking after it

Small pieces are easy to use hurriedly, which is the main way people end up sore rather than satisfied. Warm-up and lubricant still apply. Boil or wash as for any silicone piece, and store in a fabric pouch rather than loose in a drawer where dust collects on the surface.

Buying note: Compact does not mean baseless — if anal use is contemplated, the flared-base rule still applies.

TYPE 35 / 64 Reference entry

Suction-Cup Dildos

A dildo with a vacuum base that adheres to any smooth, non-porous, clean surface, enabling hands-free use. Suction strength varies substantially by manufacturer and drops off sharply on textured or dusty surfaces.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

Suction strength varies enormously and is rarely stated. A one-piece moulded cup outperforms a cup glued to a base, which is also a failure point and a cleaning problem. Test on the surface you actually intend to use: tile and glass hold well, painted wall and textured laminate hold poorly.

Using it, and looking after it

Clean and slightly dampen both the cup and the surface, press down firmly to expel air, and test with body weight before relying on it. The suction base doubles as a flared base, so these are anal-compatible. Wash the cup recess specifically, since it traps residue, and store the piece cup-upward.

Buying note: Test adhesion with body weight before relying on it. Suction bases double as flared bases, which makes this format anal-compatible.

TYPE 36 / 64 Reference entry

Double-Ended Dildos

An insertable with two usable ends, allowing simultaneous use by two people or dual use by one. Asymmetric models with different girths at each end are common. Flexibility grade determines whether the piece can be bent into a working configuration or is designed to stay straight.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

Flexibility grade is the decision. Very flexible pieces bend into a working configuration between two people but transmit less force; firmer pieces hold shape and are better for single-user dual insertion. Length between 40 and 50 cm suits partner use, while shorter pieces suit solo use. Asymmetric girths are worth considering if the two users differ.

Using it, and looking after it

Shared insertable use transmits infections. Use a condom on each end and change between partners, or keep the piece to one person. Generous lubricant at both ends, applied before rather than during. Boil silicone pieces between users if they are shared at all, and store flat rather than coiled.

Safety: Shared insertable use carries infection transmission risk. Use a condom on each end and change it between partners, or restrict the piece to one user.

Male masturbator formats

37 → 41

Sleeve-format toys for solo use, separated by how they are held and what the internal texture is designed to reproduce. Material and cleaning discipline matter more in this category than in any other, because internal channels are difficult to reach.

Oral-Format Masturbators

A compact open-ended sleeve moulded to reproduce the sensation of oral contact, sold in reusable and single-use versions. The compact size and low price make it the usual first purchase in the category.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialTPE, elastomer

What to look for

Reusable versus disposable is the first choice, and reusable is better value beyond a couple of uses. Internal texture varies from smooth to heavily ribbed; smoother interiors suit anyone who finds textured sleeves too intense. Check whether the unit is open-ended, which makes cleaning dramatically easier.

Using it, and looking after it

Water-based lubricant, applied inside generously. Wash immediately after use rather than later, since TPE holds residue in the texture. Turn open-ended units inside out to wash where possible, air-dry completely, and dust with cornflour or the supplied renewal powder before storage to stop the surface going tacky.

Buying note: TPE is porous. Single-use models are exactly that, and reusable ones need drying fully before storage or they harbour bacteria.

TYPE 38 / 64 Reference entry

Textured Sleeve Masturbators

The best-known format: a soft textured inner sleeve inside a rigid outer case, with the case allowing adjustable suction via a vented end cap. Interchangeable sleeves in different textures fit a single case, which is what makes the format a system rather than a one-off purchase.

Experience levelBeginner to intermediate
Typical materialTPE sleeve, ABS case

What to look for

The case-and-sleeve system is the point: buy into a case that has compatible replacement sleeves available, and you can change texture later for a fraction of the original price. A vented end cap that lets you adjust suction is the feature that most affects how it feels. Check the internal length against your own before buying.

Using it, and looking after it

Loosen the end cap to control suction rather than forcing it. Water-based lubricant only, and more than you think. Remove the sleeve from the case immediately after use, rinse it through, and stand it to air-dry completely — moisture trapped between sleeve and case is the single reason these products go bad. Powder before reassembly.

Safety: The inner sleeve must be removed, washed, and air-dried completely before reassembly. Trapped moisture inside a case is the failure mode for this format.

Handheld Masturbators

Compact open- or closed-ended sleeves used with hand pressure, where the user controls tightness directly by grip. Closed-ended designs generate suction; open-ended ones are easier to clean. Frequently used as a duration-training aid, since grip pressure can be modulated deliberately.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialTPE, silicone

What to look for

Open-ended units clean easily and let you control depth; closed-ended units generate suction and feel more intense but trap fluid. Wall thickness determines how much grip pressure transmits through. For duration training specifically, a softer, less textured interior is more useful than an aggressive one.

Using it, and looking after it

If duration control is the goal, use lighter grip pressure and pause deliberately rather than pushing to completion — that is what makes it training rather than practice. Water-based lubricant throughout. Wash inside out where the design allows, dry fully, and powder TPE before storing.

Buying note: If you are using it for duration training, a water-based lubricant and lighter grip pressure is the point — excessive pressure trains the opposite response.

Hands-Free & Automatic Masturbators

Larger units that mount to a surface or use an internal motor to produce stroking or suction automatically. Rechargeable automatic models with adjustable stroke and speed are now the dominant premium format. Bulk and cleaning effort are the trade-offs against the reduced physical input.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialTPE, ABS, motorised

What to look for

Automatic units divide into stroking and suction mechanisms, and they feel entirely different; suction models are quieter and more compact, stroking models are closer to the sensation they are imitating. Check noise rating, whether the sleeve is removable for cleaning, and the charge time against the run time.

Using it, and looking after it

Never immerse a motorised unit. Remove and wash the sleeve, wipe the housing with a damp cloth keeping the port dry, and let everything dry completely before reassembly. Mount suction-base models on a tested surface. Store with the sleeve out of the housing so air can circulate.

Buying note: Motorised units cannot be immersed. Follow the manufacturer's cleaning route exactly — usually a removable sleeve plus a wiped housing.

Pumps & Extender Devices

Two distinct mechanisms sold under one heading. Vacuum pumps draw blood into erectile tissue and have a legitimate clinical use in erectile dysfunction, where medically supervised versions are an established treatment. Traction extenders apply sustained tension over long daily wear periods, with a much thinner evidence base and a meaningful injury risk.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialABS, silicone

What to look for

For a pump, the essential feature is a pressure gauge and a quick-release valve — without both you are guessing, and guessing is how injuries happen. Cylinder diameter should be slightly larger than girth. Traction extenders should have a documented tension setting and comfortable strap or noose fitting, since the failure mode is pressure sores.

Using it, and looking after it

Build vacuum in stages with rest periods rather than continuously, keep sessions short, and release immediately at any pain, numbness or darkening. Never exceed the marked pressure. If the purpose is erectile difficulty rather than novelty, see a doctor first: erectile dysfunction is frequently the earliest sign of cardiovascular disease and treating the symptom alone misses that.

Safety: Permanent enlargement claims are not supported by good evidence. Excessive vacuum pressure causes burst capillaries and tissue damage. Anyone using a pump for erectile difficulty should be assessed by a doctor first — erectile dysfunction is frequently the first sign of a cardiovascular problem.

Wand Massagers

A long-handled device with a large flexible head delivering broad, deep vibration. Wands are the most powerful external format available and the one most consistently reported to produce orgasm in users who find other methods unreliable. Mains and rechargeable versions both exist; rechargeable models have closed most of the power gap.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone head, ABS body

What to look for

Power delivery is what you are paying for. Mains units still lead on raw output, but good rechargeables now come close and are far more practical. Look for a flexible neck, a silicone head rather than bare plastic, and a genuinely low first setting — wands that start high are unusable for many people. Attachment compatibility extends the product considerably.

Using it, and looking after it

Start on the lowest setting, use it over clothing or a folded cloth if direct contact is too much, and take breaks — sustained high intensity produces temporary numbness that resolves but ends the session. Wipe the head with soap and water, keep the port dry, and coil the cable loosely rather than tightly around the body.

Buying note: A note on the popular history: the widely repeated story that Victorian doctors invented the vibrator to treat 'female hysteria' has been substantially discredited by historians reviewing the primary sources. It makes a good story and it is not what the record shows.

Compact & Travel Massagers

Smaller external massagers with narrower heads for more targeted contact, sized to be discreet in storage and transport. Less power than a full wand, but far more precise, and the format most people find easiest to keep private.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, ABS

What to look for

Head size determines precision and battery size determines run time, and the two trade against each other. Look for a fully sealed waterproof body, which is both easier to clean and quieter, and USB-C charging rather than a proprietary cable you will eventually lose. Motor quality matters more at this size than the number of modes.

Using it, and looking after it

Lowest setting first, and a little water-based lubricant improves contact considerably even for external use. Rinse under running water if fully sealed, otherwise wipe. Charge before storing rather than after a long idle period, since lithium cells degrade when stored flat.

Buying note: Check the charging method before travelling — USB-C rechargeable units avoid loose batteries entirely, which matters for luggage.

Vibrator formats

44 → 60

The largest group in the catalogue, separated by shape, target area and control method rather than by any fundamental difference in mechanism. Nearly all use a motor with an offset weight; the variation is in placement, power and housing.

Bullet Vibrators

A small cylindrical single-motor unit for pinpoint external stimulation. Compact, inexpensive and versatile enough to use anywhere on the body, which makes it the most common first vibrator purchase worldwide.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialABS, silicone-coated metal

What to look for

Fully sealed one-piece construction beats a twist-open battery compartment on every measure — quieter, cleaner and genuinely waterproof. Look for a silicone-coated body rather than bare hard plastic, which transmits vibration harshly. A retrieval cord is essential if there is any chance of internal use.

Using it, and looking after it

Use it on the lowest setting first and move it rather than holding it still, which delays numbing. Water-based lubricant if used with any silicone item. Rinse sealed units under running water; wipe unsealed ones and keep water away from the seam. Remove batteries from unsealed units before long storage.

Buying note: Seams between the housing halves collect residue. Choose fully sealed waterproof units, which are also easier to clean.

Wearable & Butterfly Vibrators

A hands-free external vibrator held in place by a strap or by fitting inside underwear, designed for sustained wear. Remote and app-controlled versions extend the format to partner control at a distance.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, elastic strap

What to look for

Retention is the whole problem this format has to solve. Adjustable-strap models fit more bodies than fixed ones, and app or remote control is what makes the format interesting rather than merely hands-free. Check the strap material for anything that will chafe over an hour.

Using it, and looking after it

Use in defined sessions rather than continuously — motors warm up against skin over long runs. Test the remote range before relying on it in public. Wash the silicone contact surface after each use, keeping the charge port dry, and store the strap separately so it does not deform.

Buying note: Motors generate heat during long continuous runs. Use in defined sessions rather than continuously, and stop if the housing becomes warm against the skin.

Classic Vibrators

A straight smooth shaft with vibration through the body of the toy, suitable for internal or external use. The oldest and simplest form factor, still the default recommendation for someone who wants one toy that does several things.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialABS, silicone

What to look for

A straight shaft with body-wide vibration is the most versatile single purchase in the category. Choose silicone over hard plastic for comfort, look for a graduated tip rather than a blunt one, and check the control is a simple button rather than a twist base, which is awkward to adjust in use.

Using it, and looking after it

Warm it in the hands, use water-based lubricant with silicone, and try it externally before internally to learn the settings. Wash with soap and water while keeping the port dry; motorised units cannot be boiled. Store away from other silicone pieces.

Buying note: Straight shafts do not target the anterior wall well. If G-spot stimulation is the goal, a curved model is the correct format.

TYPE 47 / 64 In stock at Condombazaar

Clitoral Vibrators

External-only devices shaped for direct clitoral contact, including the air-pulse or suction designs that have dominated the category since the late 2010s. Air-pulse units apply rhythmic pressure waves rather than contact vibration, which many users find less numbing over a session.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

The real division is contact vibration versus air-pulse. Air-pulse units apply rhythmic pressure waves through a small opening and many users find them less numbing over a session; contact vibrators are more versatile across the body. For air-pulse models, nozzle size matters and a poor fit means it does nothing at all.

Using it, and looking after it

Start at the lowest setting given how densely innervated the area is — roughly ten thousand nerve fibres, which is why intensity escalation backfires here more than anywhere else. A drop of water-based lubricant improves the seal on air-pulse models considerably. Rinse sealed units, and clean inside the nozzle specifically.

Buying note: Given that the clitoris carries roughly 10,000 nerve fibres, start at the lowest setting. Numbness during a session is a sign to reduce intensity, not to increase it.

Egg Vibrators

An ovoid unit similar in function to a bullet but rounder and often supplied with a wired or wireless remote and a retrieval cord. Quiet, inexpensive and easy to store.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, ABS

What to look for

A retrieval cord is non-negotiable if the unit will be used internally, and wireless capsule models without one should be treated as external-only. Check whether the remote is wired or wireless and, if wireless, what its range actually is. Sealed silicone bodies clean better than seamed plastic.

Using it, and looking after it

Water-based lubricant if used internally. Test the remote before starting. Rinse fully sealed units under running water; wipe others carefully around the seam. Store with the remote so the pair does not separate, and remove batteries from the handset for long storage.

Buying note: If used internally, a retrieval cord is essential. Wireless capsules without a cord are not suitable for internal use.

TYPE 49 / 64 In stock at Condombazaar

High-Intensity Vibrators

Higher-amplitude motors for users who find standard units insufficient. Usually dual-motor and rechargeable, with substantially greater power draw.

Experience levelExperienced
Typical materialSilicone, dual-motor ABS

What to look for

Look for low-frequency, high-amplitude motors described as rumbly rather than high-frequency buzz, which numbs quickly at any power. Dual-motor construction gives a fuller sensation than a single powerful motor. Battery capacity should be checked against the intended run time, since high output drains cells quickly.

Using it, and looking after it

Escalating intensity over weeks produces temporary reduced sensitivity, so alternate with gentler formats rather than always reaching for the strongest option. Take breaks within a session. Wash and dry as for any motorised silicone piece, and charge before long storage.

Buying note: Escalating intensity can produce temporary reduced sensitivity. Alternating with lower-intensity formats avoids the pattern.

Whisper-Quiet Vibrators

Units engineered for low noise through damped motor mounting and sound-absorbing housings — a genuine priority in shared or joint-family housing, which is the majority of the Indian market.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, damped motor mount

What to look for

Noise comes from motor mounting as much as motor type, so look for descriptions mentioning damped or isolated mounts and a fully sealed silicone body, which muffles considerably more than a hard shell. Reviews are more reliable than manufacturer decibel claims here.

Using it, and looking after it

Under a duvet or with background sound, a good quiet unit is effectively inaudible outside the room, which is the practical test that matters in shared housing. Clean and store as for any sealed silicone piece, and avoid pressing it against a hard surface, which transmits sound through the furniture.

Buying note: No motor is silent. Quiet designs trade some power for noise reduction, and buyers used to high-intensity units usually notice the difference.

Finger & Tongue Vibrators

Small wearable units that sit on a fingertip or are held between the lips, adding vibration to manual or oral contact rather than replacing it. Low power by design, and among the least intimidating formats for a first purchase.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

Fit is everything for finger units — a loose sleeve rotates and a tight one restricts circulation, so look for a stretchable silicone band or an adjustable strap. Power is deliberately modest in this format. For tongue-format units, check the material is rated as food-safe as well as body-safe.

Using it, and looking after it

Use them to add sensation to manual or oral contact rather than expecting them to replace it, which is where disappointment comes from. Water-based lubricant. Wash thoroughly after every use given the contact area, and dry completely before storage.

Buying note: Body-safe silicone only for anything used near the mouth. Clean before and after every use.

G-Spot Vibrators

A curved shaft with a bulbous tip angled to apply pressure to the anterior vaginal wall a few centimetres inside. The curve is the entire design rationale — a straight toy cannot reach the same area with the same pressure.

Experience levelBeginner to intermediate
Typical materialSilicone

What to look for

Look for a firm, pronounced curve and a bulbous or flattened tip — a soft shaft flexes away from the wall under pressure and does nothing. Insertable length around 12 cm is ample. A handle you can grip for a rocking motion is more useful than a smooth base.

Using it, and looking after it

Aim toward the front wall, a few centimetres in, and use firm rocking pressure rather than thrusting. Emptying the bladder beforehand makes the sensation easier to interpret. If nothing registers, that is a normal anatomical finding rather than a technique failure. Clean and dry as for any motorised silicone piece.

Buying note: The anterior-wall region varies considerably between individuals. If a curved toy produces nothing, that is a normal finding rather than a fault.

Experience levelAll levels
Typical materialPlatinum-cure silicone, sealed housing

What to look for

The measurable differences are real: fully sealed waterproof construction, platinum-cure silicone, quieter and more powerful motors, longer battery life, and multi-year warranties. Buy from an authorised seller, because grey-market units carry no warranty and counterfeits of popular models are common and use unverified materials.

Using it, and looking after it

Register the warranty at purchase. Follow the manufacturer's charging guidance, which for most sealed units means magnetic contacts rather than a port. Rinse under running water, dry fully, and store in the supplied pouch rather than loose, where silicone attracts dust.

Buying note: Warranty and after-sales support are the practical differentiators. Buy from an authorised seller or the warranty is worthless.

Mini Vibrators

Very small units sized for discretion — comparable to a lipstick or marker — typically running on button cells or USB charging. Storage discretion is the main purchase driver in shared-housing markets.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialABS, silicone

What to look for

Size is the point, so judge it on discretion and battery type. USB-rechargeable minis avoid button cells entirely, which is worth seeking out. Silicone-coated bodies feel better than bare plastic at this scale, where vibration transmits directly to the fingers as well.

Using it, and looking after it

Button cells are a serious ingestion hazard for children and pets and must be stored out of reach. Modest power is inherent to the format rather than a defect. Wipe or rinse depending on sealing, and remove cells before long storage to avoid leakage damage.

Safety: Button cells are a serious ingestion hazard. Store where children cannot reach them.

Rabbit Vibrators

A dual-motor design with an internal shaft and an external arm, stimulating both areas simultaneously. Consistently among the best-selling formats worldwide, because it addresses the same combined-stimulation requirement as the couple ring but in a solo format.

Experience levelBeginner to intermediate
Typical materialSilicone, dual-motor

What to look for

The external arm has to reach, and this is the specification that decides whether the product works for a given body. Adjustable or flexible arms accommodate far more people than fixed ones. Independent motor controls are worth having, since most users want different intensities internally and externally.

Using it, and looking after it

Insert the shaft first, then position the arm before switching on. A little water-based lubricant on both parts improves contact. If the arm does not reach, an adjustable model or a separate external vibrator solves it better than persevering. Clean around the junction between the two arms, where residue collects.

Buying note: Fit determines whether it works at all — the external arm has to reach. Adjustable-arm models accommodate more anatomies than fixed ones.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialDual-density silicone

What to look for

Dual-density construction plus a motor is a demanding combination to build well, so this is a category where price tracks quality fairly closely. Check whether the motor is in the tip, the base, or both, and whether the base is flared or suction-cupped.

Using it, and looking after it

Motorised pieces cannot be boiled, so surface cleaning with soap and water is the only route — wash carefully at the density seam and around the base. Water-based lubricant with silicone. Dry completely and store away from light and from other silicone items.

Buying note: Motorised units cannot be boiled. Surface-clean only, and use a water-based lubricant with silicone.

Rechargeable Vibrators

Any unit with an integrated rechargeable cell rather than replaceable batteries. Now the dominant construction across the market, because sealing a charge port is far easier than sealing a battery compartment — which is why nearly all genuinely waterproof toys are rechargeable.

Experience levelAll levels
Typical materialSilicone, sealed lithium cell

What to look for

Magnetic charging contacts are the most reliable design and the reason most genuinely waterproof toys use them: there is no port to seal. Check the stated run time at full power rather than the headline figure, which is usually quoted at the lowest setting. Travel-lock functions are genuinely useful.

Using it, and looking after it

Charge fully before first use and avoid storing at zero charge for long periods, which permanently reduces lithium cell capacity. Use the travel lock in luggage. Rinse fully sealed units under running water and dry the contacts before charging.

Buying note: Magnetic charging contacts are the most reliable and are what to look for. Lithium cells degrade if stored fully discharged for long periods.

Remote-Control Vibrators

Units operated from a separate handset or a phone app, used for partner control at close range or over distance. Radio-frequency remotes work reliably within a room; app-controlled units work over the internet.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialSilicone, RF or Bluetooth

What to look for

Radio-frequency remotes are reliable within a room and require no phone; Bluetooth and app-controlled units work over distance but depend on an app that may not be maintained. Check the stated range and whether the toy has manual controls as a fallback when the remote is lost or flat.

Using it, and looking after it

Pair and test before you rely on it. App-connected devices transmit usage data to a server, so read the privacy policy and prefer local RF control if that matters to you. Keep the remote's batteries fresh, and clean and store the toy as for any sealed silicone unit.

Buying note: App-controlled devices transmit usage data. Review the privacy policy before pairing anything to an account, and prefer local RF if that matters to you.

Thrusting Vibrators

Units with a motorised shaft that extends and retracts, adding movement to vibration. Mechanically more complex than any other format in the category, which means more failure points and a higher price.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialSilicone, geared motor

What to look for

Stroke length and whether it is adjustable are the specifications that matter, and longer is not automatically better. Mechanical complexity means more failure points, so warranty terms deserve more attention here than in simpler categories. Check the noise rating, since geared mechanisms are louder than vibration motors.

Using it, and looking after it

Use plenty of water-based lubricant, since the mechanism supplies continuous movement and friction accumulates faster than with a manually controlled toy. Start at the shortest stroke. Clean the shaft and the seal where it enters the housing, and never immerse the motor section.

Buying note: Check stroke length and whether it is adjustable. Longer strokes are not automatically better and can be uncomfortable at depth.

Nipple Vibrators & Suction Cups

Small vibrating cups or suction units for breast and nipple stimulation. There is a physiological basis for the category: imaging work has shown nipple stimulation registers in the genital region of the sensory cortex, not only the chest region.

Experience levelBeginner

What to look for

Suction models and vibration models feel entirely different, and combination units do both. For suction cups, adjustable strength is essential. Silicone contact surfaces are more comfortable than rigid plastic against sensitive tissue.

Using it, and looking after it

Suction restricts circulation in the same way clamps do, so apply the same time discipline — limited application, and release at any numbness. There is a physiological basis for the category, since nipple stimulation registers in the genital region of the sensory cortex. Wash contact surfaces after every use.

TYPE 61 / 64 Reference entry

Inflatable Dolls

An inflatable full or partial body form, the least expensive doll format by a wide margin. The practical advantage over rigid formats is entirely about storage: deflated, it folds into a drawer.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialVinyl, PVC

What to look for

Seam construction is what determines lifespan, so look for welded rather than glued seams and a reliable valve. Vinyl thickness varies considerably between price points. Storage is the practical advantage over every other doll format, since it folds away completely.

Using it, and looking after it

Inflate to firm rather than taut, since over-inflation stresses the seams. Vinyl is porous and cannot be sterilised, so a condom is advisable and surface cleaning with mild soap plus complete drying is essential. Store deflated, dry and away from heat, which perishes vinyl.

Buying note: Vinyl is porous and cannot be sterilised. Seam failure at inflation points is the usual end of life.

Full-Body Realistic Dolls

Life-size articulated forms over an internal skeleton, in TPE or silicone. The most expensive category in the catalogue by an order of magnitude, and the one with the most substantial practical obstacles — weight is typically 25–40 kg, and storage is genuinely difficult.

Experience levelAdvanced
Typical materialTPE, platinum silicone over steel frame

What to look for

TPE and silicone behave differently: TPE is softer, cheaper and more porous, while silicone costs considerably more, cleans better and resists staining. Weight typically runs 25 to 40 kg, which is the practical obstacle most buyers underestimate. Import duty and customs treatment in India are significant and unpredictable considerations.

Using it, and looking after it

TPE requires regular powdering to keep the surface from going tacky, and it stains permanently from dark fabric. Cleaning and drying the internal channels properly is the hardest maintenance task in the whole catalogue. Store hanging or on a supported frame, since prolonged pressure on one area deforms the material.

Buying note: TPE requires regular powdering to maintain the surface and is porous. Import duties and customs treatment in India are significant and unpredictable considerations.

Experience levelBeginner
Typical materialTPE, silicone

What to look for

Weight and material grade are what separate the tiers. Silicone holds its shape and cleans properly; TPE is softer and cheaper but porous and requires more maintenance. Check whether the piece has a firm internal core, which affects how it behaves under pressure.

Using it, and looking after it

Surface cleaning with mild soap, complete drying, and powdering for TPE before storage. Water-based lubricant only. Store flat and away from direct light and dark fabric, both of which mark the surface permanently.

Torso-Format Masturbators

A partial-body form comprising the hips and thighs with one or two channels, used on a flat surface. Substantially heavier than a sleeve, which is the point — the mass allows movement against it rather than manipulation of it.

Experience levelIntermediate
Typical materialTPE, silicone

What to look for

Weight between 5 and 15 kg is typical, and more weight means more stability but far more storage difficulty. Check whether the internal channels are removable for cleaning — some designs allow it and those are markedly easier to maintain. Silicone over TPE if the budget allows.

Using it, and looking after it

The internal channels are the hardest surfaces here to clean and dry. Flush thoroughly, stand the piece to drain completely, and allow far longer drying time than seems necessary. A condom used inside reduces cleaning substantially. Powder TPE, and store supported rather than resting on one face.

Buying note: Weight typically runs 5–15 kg, and the internal channels are the hardest surfaces in the whole catalogue to clean and dry properly.

Cleaning, drying and storage — the part that decides lifespan

Almost every product failure in this category is a maintenance failure rather than a manufacturing one. Porous materials cannot be sterilised at all, motors cannot be immersed, and trapped moisture inside a sleeve or a case is what turns a working toy into a discarded one. The routine below takes four minutes and applies to nearly everything on this page.

  1. Rinse immediately, not later. Residue that dries into a textured surface is far harder to remove, and in porous material it does not fully come out at all. The minute after use is worth more than twenty minutes the next day.
  2. Wash by material, not by habit. Non-porous items — platinum-cure silicone, borosilicate glass, stainless steel, ABS — take unscented soap and warm water. Non-motorised silicone, glass and steel can additionally be boiled for ten minutes for a genuine sterilisation. Nothing with a motor or a battery goes in water beyond a damp cloth.
  3. Reach the texture. Grooves, ridges and internal channels hold residue that a surface wipe misses entirely. Turn open-ended sleeves inside out where the design allows. A soft brush kept solely for this purpose handles deep texture.
  4. Dry completely, and give it longer than feels necessary. This is the step people skip and the one that matters most. Stand sleeves and torso formats to drain rather than laying them flat, and leave motorised units disassembled until every surface is dry to the touch.
  5. Powder porous materials. TPE and TPR go tacky as they age. A light dusting of cornflour or the renewal powder supplied with the product restores the surface and slows the deterioration considerably.
  6. Store separately, in fabric. Different silicone formulations can react where they touch, leaving both surfaces permanently marked. Individual cotton bags beat a shared drawer, and airtight plastic traps any residual moisture against the surface.
  7. Charge before storing, not after. Lithium cells degrade when left flat for months. Around half charge is ideal for anything going into long storage, and unsealed battery units should have their cells removed to avoid leakage damage.

When to replace rather than clean

Porous items are consumables. Replace TPE and jelly pieces when the surface stays tacky after powdering, when any smell persists after washing, or when discolouration appears — all three indicate the material has broken down and no cleaning routine will reverse it. Silicone, glass and steel last indefinitely if undamaged, but silicone should be retired at the first split or tear, since a torn surface can no longer be cleaned properly.

If this is your first purchase

The most common mistake is not choosing the wrong product — it is buying three things at once and finding out later that two of them were never going to suit. A sensible first order is small, cheap, and designed to answer a question rather than to solve everything.

Buy the lubricant first, whatever else you choose

A water-based lubricant is compatible with every toy material on this page and with latex condoms, and it is the single accessory that improves the experience of almost everything in the catalogue. It costs a fraction of any toy. Buying it as an afterthought, or not at all, accounts for a large share of disappointing first experiences and most avoidable friction injuries.

Choose one format, not a category

For couples, a vibrating ring answers the question cheaply and requires no technique at all. For solo external use, a compact massager or bullet is the standard entry point. For restraint play, a bundled beginner kit costs less than the pieces bought separately and lets you find out what appeals before committing to anything specific. In every case the goal of a first purchase is information, not completeness.

Read the material line before the feature list

Mode counts and app connectivity are marketing; material is the specification that determines whether an item is safe, cleanable and compatible with what you already own. Platinum-cure silicone, borosilicate glass and stainless steel are the three materials that will not let you down. A listing that will not state its material is telling you something.

Expect a learning curve, and give it more than one attempt

Very few products in this category work perfectly the first time. Warmth, unhurried pace, enough lubricant and low starting intensity matter more than any specific product choice — arousal is driven centrally, and a rushed or anxious first attempt will underperform regardless of what you bought. If something does not work on the first try, the variable to change is usually the circumstances rather than the purchase.

Which format should you start with?

Three questions. It points to a category we actually stock, not to something we would have to import for you.

Sharing, storage and privacy

Sharing safely

Any insertable item shared between people can transmit infection, including through a break in the skin too small to notice. The straightforward answer is a barrier: put a condom on the item, change it between partners, and prefer non-porous materials that can genuinely be sterilised between uses. Porous items — TPE, TPR, jelly, vinyl — should not be shared at all, because no cleaning routine fully clears them. If an item moves between anal and vaginal use in the same session, it needs a fresh barrier or a full wash in between, without exception.

Storing discreetly in shared housing

This is a real constraint for most buyers in India and worth planning for rather than improvising. Compact and mini formats exist substantially for this reason. Fabric drawstring bags keep items dust-free and are unremarkable in a drawer; hard cases with combination locks are available where more security is wanted. Rechargeable models avoid loose batteries entirely, which matters both for storage and for luggage. Travel-lock functions stop a toy switching itself on in a bag, which is the specific failure people worry about.

How discreet delivery actually works

Orders ship in plain outer packaging with no product name, no brand marking and nothing on the label that indicates the contents. The billing descriptor on a card or bank statement is neutral. Delivery reaches pin codes across India, including areas where no physical retailer stocks this category at all — which is a large part of why online has become the default route for these purchases rather than a niche one.

Frequently asked questions

Twenty minutes is the standard maximum, after which it should be removed for a period before any reuse. A ring works by slowing venous return from the erectile tissue, so prolonged wear restricts circulation. Remove immediately if there is numbness, coldness, unusual swelling or colour change. Stretchable silicone is the correct choice for a first purchase because rigid rings cannot be removed quickly if tissue swells.
No. A sleeve provides no contraceptive effect and no protection against sexually transmitted infections, regardless of how much it resembles a condom. If either is needed, a condom must be used in addition to the sleeve. Sleeves are sold as sensation and dimension products only.
The curve. A G-spot vibrator has a curved shaft with a bulbous tip angled to apply pressure to the anterior vaginal wall a few centimetres inside, which a straight classic vibrator cannot reach with the same pressure. Classic vibrators are more versatile for general internal and external use; curved models are specific to that one target area.
No. Permanent enlargement claims are not supported by good evidence. Vacuum pumps produce a temporary effect by drawing blood into erectile tissue, and they do have a legitimate clinical role in treating erectile dysfunction under medical supervision. Excessive pressure causes burst capillaries and tissue damage. Anyone using a pump because of erectile difficulty should see a doctor first, since erectile dysfunction is often an early cardiovascular sign.
Almost certainly not. That story comes from a single influential 1999 book and was repeated widely in journalism and film, but historians reviewing the primary sources have found no evidence that physicians used vibrators to induce orgasm as a medical treatment. It is one of the most repeated claims in the field and one of the least supported.
Water-based only. Silicone-based lubricant chemically degrades silicone surfaces on contact, leaving them permanently tacky. Water-based lubricant is compatible with every toy material and with latex condoms. Glass and stainless steel are the exceptions where silicone lubricant is safe, since neither reacts with it.
Generally yes, for a structural reason rather than a marketing one: sealing a charging port is far easier than sealing a battery compartment, so almost all genuinely waterproof toys are rechargeable. Rechargeables also deliver more consistent power, since battery units weaken as the cells drain. Magnetic charging contacts are the most reliable design.
TPE is body-safe in the sense that it is non-toxic, but it is porous, which means it absorbs fluids and cannot be fully sterilised. Bacteria persist in the material regardless of surface cleaning. TPE items should be washed and dried completely after every use, used with a condom over them, and replaced periodically. Platinum-cure silicone is the non-porous alternative.
About this guide. General information for adults, not medical advice, and no substitute for consulting a qualified doctor. Entries marked Reference entry describe product categories that exist in the global market but are not currently stocked by Condombazaar — they are included so this guide is complete, not as an offer to sell. Nothing here is a legal opinion; the note on Indian law is a plain summary of the public position and readers should take their own advice. Never share an insertable toy without a barrier, replace porous materials periodically, and stop immediately if anything causes pain, numbness or bleeding.
